Before the rock 'n' roll lifestyle, music began with the Colorado Children's Chorale (CCC). Countless experiences with the CCC included a European tour and a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Then it was off to Denver School of the Arts where he was privileged to back Josh Groban at Red Rocks with his school choir.
Onward to college at the University of Northern Colorado, School of Music, which offered a European tour with Opera Classica Europa to jazz studies with Dana Landry and critically acclaimed, Grammy nominated group the Northern Colorado Voices. At UNC Nic performed alongside musicians Neyla Pekarek (The Lumineers), Sharon Harms (Metropolitan Opera), & Tommy Boynton (The Four Freshmen).
Nic was fortunate enough to work with world renowned, 7x Grammy-winning music producer and engineer Frank Filipetti, who recorded Petals of Spain's 2017 EP Daydream.
Musically, Nic Jay is focusing on SYCDVK and his solo project, with two EPs coming out in 2018 from SYCDVK and an EP from the solo project.
Another artistic endeavor is Nic's childrens book titled Hamolas, Watley, and Lencer Love. The adventure story is illustrated by Alex Ferreira and can be expected in 2018.

Willym is also known for previously hosting a popular open mic off of Colfax (Howling Moon Open Mic @ Brik On York). He is now booking for solo, duo, and full group performances.
Dear me,'s socially relevant, humorous songwriting sounds like Louis C.K. formed an indie folk band with the Beatles. Based in Denver, Colorado, their Folk influenced harmonies lay the groundwork for lyrics that explore the absurdities of being a 20-something in the 21st century. The music walks the tightrope between hilarious and depressing, but their live show is so electric they'll never let you fall.
In 2015 they maintained a busy schedule at venues throughout Denver, including opening for The Voice's Joshua Davis and headlining the Bluebird theater.
Dear Me, has spent 2016 opening for national acts like Ben Sollee and Nathan Fox, and recording their first EP, to be released in early 2017. In October 2016, they'll be touring across the Pacific Northwest.
