Public Safety
Public Safety
A musical blend of hard rock and driving funk, paired with catchy lyrics, Public Safety is quickly shredding their way into mainstream music. With a top shelf live experience for fans, and flowing intricate musicianship being their goal, Public Safety is the ultimate entertainment experience. With soulful vocals delivered by frontman Bear Buscher, tasty guitar hooks played by Jimmy Jeter, groovin' bass lines performed by Ethan Desmond, and crispy drums coming from Lem Williams, the band is able to get the crowd nice n' rowdy! Public Safety provides a live experience that hits so hard, you may feel that you were just delivered a swift roundhouse kick by Steven Seagal. It is Public Safety's firm belief that nobody should be subject to a poor live show, and we are here to protect your right to vibe.

Why is Pop music so frequently dumbed-down drivel? Why does Progressive Rock and Fusion have such a difficult time writing songs that appeal to every listener? These questions are what SYLVA, a Rock/Funk band based out of the Boulder, CO area, seeks to answer. With a focus on catchy hooks, tight grooves, fat basslines, huge guitars and an unwavering dedication to solid songwriting, SYLVA has something for every listener.

SYLVA is born out of an equal love not only for Progressive Rock and Fusion bands like Dream Theater, Frost, Muse, Snarky Puppy, Herbie Hancock and Return to Forever, but also of the funky Pop and R&B stylings of Maroon 5, Jamiroquai, Toto, Prince, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson.

The idea behind SYLVA has existed far longer than it’s been in the public spotlight, with some of their songs being created as far back as 2008 when bassist/producer Tony Dickinson and vocalist Travis Moberg founded the first iteration of the group. Since then, several musicians have come and gone through SYLVA’s ranks but Tony and Travis’ vision always remained. Finally in 2015, longtime friend and veteran Jazz drummer Pat Lewis and guitarist Peter Lacis came to complete the rock solid core that you hear today.
