If it wasn’t for Chicago’s ridiculously amazing live music scene, Tula would not exist.

A common interest in creating fresh, uncompromising improvised music drew the musicians together on a mission to melt faces and move bodies. Diverse influences combined to form a unique sound that is all their own. Tula strives to create a new and different experience with each appearance, and specializes in high energy performances with a chill atmosphere, so expect much more than an average show, expect an experience.

Tula officially formed in May of 2008, and ever since has been hitting the road bringing their music to venues and festivals throughout Chicagoland and beyond.
