The Clever Confidence

The Clever Confidence is an acoustic singer/songwriter duo from Ft. Collins Colorado. The duo is made up of two college students, guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, Mike Clements and singer/guitarist, Danno Rude. They have played all over Colorado playing in coffee houses, clubs, and venues and have won many talent showcases, the most notable of these being the 2007 Colorado State University Idol Competition. Despite being unsigned, they released an EP in early 2007 called “Conversations” and are currently in the process of recording their first full-length album and starting their own independent label called Almost Famous Records. Their unique blend of upbeat acoustic pop songs, heartfelt ballads, and clever lyricism provide a song for every mood or emotion.
