ABOUT STRINGS & WOOD
Strings & Wood Presents is a non-profit music production company that is an advocate for restoring the arts through the promotion of local music, social justice, and visual arts.

In addition to helping find live music for your event or cause, we host monthly shows our of own at various venues around Denver, including The Oriental Theater, The Gothic Theater, Cafe Caliente, & Highlands Arts & Events Center donated to us by Highlands Church in the heart of Historic Highlands Square (just west of Downtown Denver).

At all of our shows, we provide both local & national singer/songwriters a great venue and a great opportunity for even more exposure. Musicians receive 90% of what comes in the door, and we give the visual artists an opportunity to hang their work for one month’s time in the Events Center’s lobby. No rental fee is charged to any of our artists, and all revenue from merchandise, or art sales, goes directly back to the artists. The only thing we ask in return from any of our visual artists is that they help in promoting their corresponding concerts.

Also, Strings & Wood invites local photographers to document our concerts, helping the photographers build their portfolios while offering them a chance to network with each musician. The photographers, in turn, are able to share with the musicians a memorable ‘snapshot’ of their show.

3 of our 12 yearly concerts are designated as benefit concerts that will aid in need organizations locally and globally. 100% of the door sales is donated to the named organization or non-profit.

Finally, when it makes sense, we have created a non – exclusive Strings & Wood Artist Agency, providing booking assistance for musicians who do not have full-time booking agents.
