I’m the DJ, he’s the Drummer! Yep, that’s right. A DJ and a drummer about to tear up the scene in the 303. In this hype duo project, DJ KAAOS spins underground hip hop, old school hip hop, breaks and some other experimental tunes, without the TOP 40 garabge, cleverly arranged in a non stop, fully beatmixed and scratched one hour set to blow your mind while having a live, heavy handed drummer, Matt Fink (M.F.) playing live over what DJ KAAOS is spinning. “The sound is MASSIVE and very entertaining with the hype set line up and stage presence” (Jaymes Dee). M.F. KAAOS has already launched shows and have had nothing but positve reaction and mad invites. Since M.F. KAAOS doesn’t do original tunes, you wont catch us on a music player, but we have videos of some live shows to give you a look on our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/mfkaaos. We’ve been doing music together for quite a while now collaborationg on a few band projects. Matt Fink is a well known drummer in the Denver local band scene and has a long resume of projects he’s been involved with spanning over 10+ years in the 303 local music scene and is currently the drummer for The Flash Mob. DJ KAAOS is very active in the local band scene, being involved in a few projects such as, Rhythm Vision, The Flash Mob, Boondok Saints and most recently, UmConscious, to name a few along with regular live appearances on the popular Underground Hip Hop radio show, Basementalism out of Boulder, CO. We’ve been itching to get something together that would only require drums and turntables, but couldn’t quite put our hands on it, but have finally found the best possible way to work something out that has the potential to really be special for us. Now, we’re going full steam ahead with our new duo project. M.F. KAAOS makes an awesome opener in hopes of working our way to main support and possibly headlining acts as we grow. Come hang with us!
