Meniskus
The new generation of Latin-Trance-Rock is here. meniskus. has played together for just over a year all over the Boulder, CO area. Their eclectic mix of acoustic/electronic rock has graced the ears of many avid listeners. Wall of Sound, the debut album title for this power trio, says it all. The rhythmic prowess of Bryan Bardusco, guitar player extraordinare, is not undermined by his tendency to produce thick full bass lines at the same time as melodic lead riffs. Centering the groove oriented arrangements is Chris Wright. After playing many years live with numerous bands on the East Coast, he was drawn to Colorado to play with Bardusco. They soon began playing weekly around Boulder, performing many of the same original songs as they play today (minus the vocals and violin). Two years later their third member, Eric Ostberg, also migrated from the East Coast. A violin player and vocalist by trade, Eric had played with Chris in the Tripping Billies, a tribute to the Dave Matthews Band from Rochester, NY before relocating. In Colorado, he quickly found the groove that meniskus. was putting out, and after a year of practicing and playing, they are ready to play out for everyone to enjoy
