One of the top stars of Czech popular music, Janek Ledecky has been performing for over 20 years, receiving critical acclaim and several awards at home. He started in late 80’s leading a popular rock band
Zentour, which released five successful CDs, and then went solo in early 90’s with couple of platinum releases. Ledecky started composing and performing for musicals in Prague in late 90’s including major hits Hamlet and Galileo, which were also released on CDs & DVD’s that turned gold. Hamlet was later translated into English and also recorded, it premiered in US in ‘02, and was even recently performed in Seul, South Korea. His latest solo CD was released in ‘05.
