Greenfoot
Greenfoot is an eclectic three-piece band based north of Denver, Colorado. We play all-original music that combines the roots from blues, classic rock, rockabilly and modern rock that can be best described as “roots rock”. The three pieces consist of the time-honored combination of guitar, bass, and drums, complete with raw vocals. Built on top of a solid groove, we bring a rock mentality depth and creativity to the blues genre. Together we produce a well-balanced, mature sound that is exudes passion, blowing our audience out of the water. It’s been comparatively described as “Gov’t Mule meets Led Zeppelin”. Greenfoot is led by Jake Vogel on guitar and vocals. Jake brings with him 14 years of experience with influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to CCR to Clutch. Bassist Kevin Rurup offers his 20 years of bass-playing experience from country, blues and rock to contribute to our unique sound. With his 14 years of experience that include rock, funk, ska and jazz, drummer Jeromey Gaudreau delivers a solid foundation with his attention to rhythmic detail. Combining our broad influences, we have brought our diverse music throughout the Denver area. We have performed at a number of venues including: Cricket on the Hill, Toad Tavern, Club X, Buffalo Rose, Larimer Lounge as well as a number of private parties. Through our shows, we have developed a growing fan base and are continually looking to expand by performing at venues throughout Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and across the Front Range.
