Genetic Engines

Genetic Engines is a group spawned from the music of Michael Edwards, a recent transplant into Denver, Colorado.

Edwards spent most of 2010 writing and producing his full length debut album. The result of this yearlong production is Genetic Engines, a collection of songs spanning the boundaries of folk, rock, and electronic music.

In early 2011, Michael started putting together a band of collaborators to perform this music live, and they started playing out locally in Denver in the summer, culminating in a performance at the Denver Post’s annual Underground Music Showcase.
