In a world in which only the strong survive, it doesn’t matter who makes it to the kill first… Pecking order is usually determined by whoever is found eating last. After waiting patiently in the wings of the rap game… Watching others have their fill… A collective emerges to take their seat at the dinner table. Appropriately dubbed “The Food Chain”, this collective of Colorado hip hop artists embodies every aspect of the process. Working all the while on their craft due strictly to their love of the music. And it’s that love that has driven “The Food Chain” to this point. Often dismayed by the condition of the game “The Food Chain” vows to make music true to the heart first, focusing on issues political to social and every point in between. No need for bombastic pronouncements… Hence the omition of the word “Top” from their name. “The Food Chain” embodies the entire process… It’s all encompassing… And all ears that truly hear… Get that sense from the jump! The culture… Much like life’s circle will live on till time’s end… “The Food Chain” proudly brandishes their love of hip hop as more than a source if income… They see it as a chance to move the masses.

The Food Chain is a combined effort from some of the regions dopest producers, mc’s, and entrepreneurs directed as ONE to collectively saturate and connect w/ world! Collab producers include Mass Prod, Akil, Mic Coats, Boon Doc, and Mo Heat. Artist collabs include Champ(Oren Lomena, also known for Raw Sports/Fox Sports Rocky Mountain & 104.3fm the fan), C-1, F.L, Mic Coats, and Ike Luva.
