Electric Houses began as a two-man side project of the drummer and lead singer/guitarist from The Build-Up. As The Build-Up broke down, the side projecteers, Chris and Brian, poached Johnny Colorado from The Build-Up and jumped a sinking ship. In the dark and ominous bosom of this metaphorical ocean, they drudged through the blackness of dangerous waters to stay afloat, ultimately emerging in the midst of a dense fog upon the banks of their own consciousness to form the Electric Houses. The name, Electric Houses, was stumbled upon when all three members realized that they are all near-direct descendants of blues pioneer Son House (and direct descendants of father Abraham). Since forming in February 2010, the band has toured extensively throughout Eurasian townships, Middle Eastern provinces, and the northern regions of Chinaland.
