Catch Lungs rookie debut album entitled “Food for the Famished” dropped in late 2008, turning heads – and ears of people from all around the world. Catch wrote most of the material for Food for the Famished at 18 years old, and is yet to release another project since the release early last October. Catch is now 20 years old (born June 11th, 1989) and has been working on various projects that will be hitting the streets this fall and early 2010. Fresh Breath Committee has been the main focus of Catch Lungs lately (Committee consisting of Catch Lungs, Flawless, Fo’ Cheif, Purpose, Kontrast, DJ Skip Ripkin, Hi-Res and the wonderful female vochalist, Crystal). The group will be releasing an album october 8th of this year, entitled “C.P.R.” “I feel as though we’ve grown so much not just as a group, but as people as well,” says Catch Lungs…, " The album represents the Fresh Breath we feel the Committee gives into the seemingly lifeless game of hip-hop." Watch out for Masta Ace and The ReMINDers on the features of “C.P.R.” along with a few extra hot guest producers. The release date is set for October 8, and Fresh Breath Committee will be hosting a concert at The Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Masta Ace and The ReMINDers will be performing along with Fresh Breath Committee and a few more special guests will also be slated for that special evening. Catch has been putting together material for a solo album as well as material for other projects he has with other artists. Artists / Labels Catch Lungs has been working with include but are NOT limited to: Da Free Agent$, Chaundon, Masta Ace, Pirate Signal, Food Chain, Kid Hum, The ReMINDers, Joe Thunder, Yaw Boso, Haven, Underground Hustlin, FTC Records, THC, J-Money, and more.
