Carter Beckworth

Carter Beckworth is an American songwriter and musician from Austin, Texas. He is also the lead vocalist of the Pop/Rock band, Baker Hotel.

Beckworth released his debut album, “Fairweather Grace” in 2007 while attending The University of Mississippi in Oxford. While living in Oxford Beckworth began performing with pianist/vocalist Reed Barrett and guitarist, Simon Page as an acoustic trio that would later become the band, Baker Hotel.

Beckworth’s self-titled follow-up to 2007’s “Fairweather Grace” is set for release in March 2011. Though hard at work in the studio, Beckworth maintains a rigorous touring schedule with Baker Hotel, while continuing to perform regularly as a solo artist.
