Cait is a singer/songwriter originally from Madison, Wisconsin. She grew up surrounded by music: singing in childrens choirs, performing in plays and at church. She knew that music was going to be her life from early childhood.

When Cait was 14 years old she recieved her first guitar…A plywood, baby blue “Tenada” from 1970 (it was her mothers). She casually played and took lessons until she was 17. When she graduated from high school, built-up creative energy exploded and she started writing her music.

Within six months she had written enough songs to record and release her first full length debut album, “The Color Cait”. She started playing out all over Wisconsin: personally booking, promoting and representing herself. In the winter of 2004, Cait started work on a project with Snailish Records titled “Cait: Vol. 1”. This five song release was an effort to show her fans how far she had come and where she was headed. Cait continued to play in Wisconsin and develop her style. In the summer of 2005 she felt it was time for a change…

She recorded her 3rd album “Fortress” which includes 10 original songs and packed her life in a 96’ Jetta to head west: Boulder, Colorado. She left family, friends, work and love behind on her quest for a dream she had since she was a child. To affect peoples lives and souls through bearing her own in music.
