Basic Audio Production (class)
This hands-on class in a professional music venue serves as an introduction to the many aspects of recording and producing audio, whether it be music, speech, choir, or theater. The first class includes a brief primer of acoustics, basic microphone tips and techniques, introduction to computer recording, basic MIDI, and the fundamentals of mixing and producing audio. In the second and third classes, students will put theory to practice, working with a musician on the studio equipment. Improve your recordings by deepening your understanding of acoustics and sound in a light and easy to understand presentation served up in plain English.
